Last Call Event Staffing - February Business Spotlight

Introduction and Background:

With 20+ years of bar & restaurant experience when in 2019 a friend asked if I could help bartend at a new venue I said... Heck Yeah! Then another venue reached out & a couple friends for private parties... I started to realize there was a need here & I was happy to help! The parties got bigger & staffing needs grew so I started getting my daughter, a neighbor & past coworkers to come along. We went from having a few events a month to having a few or more events a DAY! We now supply experienced, licensed, fun staff for all your service needs for weddings, backyard birthdays, corporate events, fundraisers, etc. Wherever you need people... I have the best people!! We help plan, setup, serve, clean up & everything in between.

Community Involvement:

I love this community & will jump at the opportunity to help at any function around Walton County. We've worked with multiple local non profits, political campaigns & chamber events. My favorites are the Team Up Mentoring events & the repeat clients we have for businesses right here in & around town. My People! 

Success Stories:

Every event is memorable, especially for our clients, so we have to make sure we are on our game at every single one. The positive feedback I get from clients after the events we work tells me we're doing something right! If I had a dollar for every time I heard "we couldn't have done it without you" or "Your staff was awesome" I'd have a couple hundred more dollars right now. That's success to me... knowing we made a difference in someone's most important days. 

Challenges and Solutions:

Every event can come with its own challenges. We could be setting up in a field or an elegant venue so making sure we have all our bases covered has not come without some trial & error! After about 400 events we've seen just about everything so I know what to ask & I truly tailor every event to the needs of our clients no matter where it is. The one thing my staff has heard multiple times over the years is.... bob, weave & make it happen! 

Future Plans:

Staffing is our core & we will always be there to help with any needs. Here's a few new things we did in 2025; we gave golf cart rides, we were parking attendants & decorators too. We now offer rentals as well like a mirror photo booth, champagne wall, charcuterie cart & more. 

Chamber Benefits:

Being a chamber member has introduced me to so many amazing people. Walton County is truly blessed with the coolest crew that has 1 goal... Building a successful community full of businesses of all shapes, sizes & colors. You just never know who you'll meet at any of the fun or knowledge filled events they put on.  

Advice:

Find a need & fill it but fill it well! I recently gave someone starting a business a little advice & I said... start slow, make a name for yourself & always follow through with your promises or don't make them. 10 years ago I would have laughed if someone told me I'd be a business owner but here I am. Key Lesson... Don't give up even on the hard days or when you're looking at 6 events in 3 days because that's when the magic happens. By Monday you're a liitle dizzy, sore & worn slap out but that's when the grateful messages start coming in so you get back up & do it all over again. Do what you love & I love to see people happy!
