Event Details

  • Creating a Workplace Wellness Program can have a significant effect on your bottom line.
  • It benefits the small businesses and the larger companies.
  • Healthier employees have fewer sick days (decreased absenteeism) and are more productive (increased presenteeism) than their "less healthy" counterparts.
  • Wellness programs also help to build team comradery and a culture of wellness, which in turn, leads to a happier, healthier, more productive employee.

Les Russell, Director of Human Resources for the City of Monroe told us this about working with Dawn:  “Wellness for the city of Monroe has resulted in people taking control of their life and their self-esteem.  Through the wellness coaching provided by Dawn Young, we have people that have been able to stop taking medications for diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol, because through the wellness program they have learned a new system of eating.  They have lost pounds and look better in the clothes they own or for some had to buy new smaller sizes.

Fewer health issues, more energy, and better physical condition. A win-win for both the city and the employee, but a huge physical and moral victory for the individual.”
