Leadership Walton Class of 2019 Graduates!

Posted By: Teri Smiley Community Programs,

On Thursday, April 25th, another twenty-three local leaders graduated from the 2019 Leadership Walton Class.

In September of 2018, most of these class members met for the first time yet their bond was strong immediately!  At our retreat, we had many team building activities, a talent show and then MIND design, a tool used to identify leadership styles/personality types.

Following the retreat, the group met for eight sessions covering leadership training topics on Teambuilding, Managing Conflict, Time Management, Communicating Effectively and Gallup Strengths Finder Assessment/Presentation.  Community topics during the sessions included a Walton County Scavenger Hunt, Public Safety – Fire, Police & Sheriff’s Office, Education, Economic Development, Non-Profits, City, County & State Government, Recycling Center and Healthcare.

We are accepting nominations for the new class through May 13th.  To download the application, click here:  https://assets.noviams.com/novi-file-uploads/wccc/LW_Nomination_Form_2019-2020_-_ENews.pdf
