A Child's Voice - A Child's Voice serves child victims of sexual or physical abuse, or witnesses of violent crime in Walton & Newton counties. Specially trained staff provide child-friendly and trauma-sensitive forensic interviews, medical examinations, and family support services. ACV also provides training and education to recognize, respond to, and prevent abuse.

Hometown Heroes of Walton -Hometown Heroes of Walton is dedicated to helping families there by strengthening our community for the future. We identify needs and provide support to families and children; Empower families by identifying and building upon their strengths; Engage in any activity which will promote the common interest and general welfare of We are best known for our annual "Shop with a Hero" event where we provide children who would otherwise not have any gifts an evening to go Christmas shopping with one of our local public safety heroes.   To donate, Contact Bill Owens, City of Monroe Fire Department 678.492.9335

Faith in Serving Humanity FISH – The FISH and FISH MD Ministries serve the people of Walton County with a food pantry, ministry office, soup kitchen, medical and dental clinics, and the FISH4Kids Summer Lunch Program. These programs help to support thousands of families in need each year with housing and utility assistance, food, medical needs, and spiritual support.  The FISH4Kids program provides nearly 2,000 at risk children with lunch each weekday. FISH partners with local churches and organizations that work together to lift people in need in Walton County.

Project Renewal, DVIP -

The mission of Project ReNeWal, DVIP is to provide the support and services necessary for families and individuals in the Georgia Counties od Rockdale, Newton, and Walton to live in violence-free homes.

Shepherd's Staff Ministries, Inc. - Shepherd's Staff helps more than 11,000 people each year with food, clothing, utility assistance, emergency housing, glasses for school aged children, special holiday meals, a free shopping day at Christmas, continued education or connection to other community resources.  In addition, we provide targeted nutrition for clients who need help managing a health condition that can be improved through diet and exercise.

Team up Mentoring - Team Up Mentoring is a local case management and mentoring nonprofit serving young people ages 3-21 affected by significant trauma. The Partnership & WYP - We currently have an initiative called "Sidekicks" which is an offshoot of our "Look Up" campaign that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  We are providing masks, signage, and help with businesses complying with Gov. United Way of Walton County - United Way of Walton County has established the Crisis Response & Recovery Fund at www.unitedwayofwalton.org/crisis. The fund supports United Way agencies to respond to immediate needs and to serve the community in the aftermath. 

Walton County Boys & Girls Club - The Walton County Boys and Girls Club is a local organization where our youth are able to go to after school and in the summer. The club is a safe place for kids to go and get mentoring, It affords teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience. They conduct activities in three areas: academic success, career exploration and community service.

Walton County Safe Kids - Walton County Safe Kids is a non profit organization based right here in Walton County and we help educate parents, caregivers and kids ranging in age from birth to age 18.  We help educate them on the proper way to install car seats and provide the education needed so they will use the correct car seat the correct way each and every time.  We also provide car seats for qualified parents and care givers within Walton County.  We  offer free car seat inspections to our residents of Walton County all they need to do is make an appointment at the Sheriff's Office to have their seat checked.  We provide education on bike safety as well as poison control, water safety, fire safety in the home, and safe sleep for our babies.   We also work closely with the high school in our County on the dangers of drinking and distracted driving.

William Harris Homestead - The William Harris Homestead Museum & Education center is a non-profit that serves to preserve an early nineteenth-century homestead, using the homestead and greater historic site as a tool to advance heritage, agricultural, and environmental scholarship. The William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center holds approximately six to eight community educational events per year. The William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center is also a beloved destination for field trips for schools in the Metro-Atlanta area, hosts approximately fifty field trips per academic year, and hosts approximately 5,000 school children per academic year.
