Professional Bio
I have been in retail and customer service my entire life. Growing up in a family that owned a small business I was able to experience many aspects of a small business. I started by dusting shelves and sweeping floors. I worked my way to bookkeeper, parts clerk, secretary and parts manager in some instances all at the same time while still dusting and sweeping along the way. I like my tractors red, International Harvester of course, the rest can stay in the shed as they saying goes. Most everything I know as a business person I learned from my Daddy. I've often told the story of him calling a fellow dealer, and friend in the neighboring county, before he would price a tractor to a customer. He purposely priced the tractor higher in order not to take the sale from another dealer. At my Daddy's visitation another fellow dealer and again, a friend, told the family that my Daddy was the only person that would work with him and didn't try to put him out of business. I believe in working together and try to live by the Miracle on 34th Street Santa's philosophy. If I don't have what you are looking for I am happy to help you find it, where ever that may be, preferably at another small, independent business of course.
