Annual Banquet
This event held annually in January gives us the opportunity to celebrate our previous year accomplishments as well as recognize key volunteers in our community. At this event, we present awards for Ambassador of the Year, Member of the Year, J.L. McGarity Citizenship Award and Public Servant Award. The evening ends with the ceremonial passing of the gavel from the past Chairman of the Board to the new Chairman of Walton Chamber Board. Coffee & Connections
If you enjoy networking and your business benefits from meeting new potential clients, you don’t want to miss our monthly Coffee & Connections hosted at member businesses around Walton County. Check the calendar, register for the next one and get your 60 second commercial ready!
Membership Luncheons & Eggs & Issues Breakfast
These rotate and are held the 2nd Thursday of the month unless there is a conflict with a holiday or school break. Speakers range from business related topics to community updates. You can visit the upcoming events tab for information on our next luncheon.
Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament
What better way than to make deals than on the golf course, right? Join us at this annual event, play golf or set up a sponsor booth and interact with the golfers there. This event is held annually in May at the Monroe Golf & Country Club. At the end of the event, we have the annual Golf Ball Drop for a chance to win half of the money raised on the drop, ranging from $500-$1000 in winnings! Battle of the Burgers
This event will be held annually featuring local restaurants battling for the title of the Best Burger in Walton County! You won't want to miss our First Annual Battle of the Burgers Event. As a chamber member restaurant/caterer, you can register to participate without any participation fee. If you are not a chamber member, you can still participate for a $200 fee, or join the chamber and the fee is waived! We will sell a limited number of tickets for just $25/each. Harmony Half & 5K Races
On the first Saturday of December, make plans to join us for our 5K and/or Half Marathon Races. Both routes are certified so they will count towards qualifiers for larger races. If you aren’t a runner or walker but want to come join us, contact us to volunteer. We have a lot of volunteer opportunities for this event!
