Walton Forward
Walton Forward is our Education Foundation which manages the following programs:
Reality Check
Reality Check is designed for students in the 8th grade. This program stresses the importance of budgeting, prioritizing spending decisions, and saving money. Students will gain valuable experience in paying bills, and making daily decisions that all of us must tackle on a monthly basis.
Walton Proud
Walton Proud is a project of the Walton County Chamber of Commerce and all public and private schools in Walton County. We are PROUD of the outstanding education options for our area youth.

Leadership Walton
Leadership Walton is a program of Walton Forward, Inc., an educational foundation under the Walton County Chamber of Commerce. The program is managed by the Walton County staff. The program is designed to develop leaders for our community. The Leadership Walton program encourages and fosters the development of community leaders by using formal study program. The mission of the program is to broaden the volunteer leadership base, identify and train future leaders for participation in community, provide opportunities for dialogue with existing community leaders, and promote a network of informed, motivated community leaders.

Youth Leadership Walton
The Walton Chamber Youth Leadership Walton Program includes both Junior and Senior year components. The students represent 4 public high schools and 3 private schools. In the Junior year, the students receive CEO level leadership training through UGA JW Fanning Institute curriculum and in the Senior year, community awareness programs. We are excited about the positive impact this program has on our schools and community.
Buy Local: You Can Make a Difference!
The Buy Local Campaign is a Walton County Chamber of Commerce Program and was developed by the Business Council to support local businesses.

Referral Groups
Each Referral Group member educates the group on their business and what makes a good referral for them. This benefit provides a way to have other local member companies referring your company to their friends, families, coworkers and others. These types of referrals open doors that can expand your customer base. This opportunity allows you to build trust and credibility with the Referral Group Members, giving them the confidence to send referrals your way and likewise giving you the confidence to send the members of your group referrals.
