Entrepreneurial Seminar Series

The Georgia Small Business Development Center Network

     The Small Business Resource Center is located at the Walton Career Academy on Bryant Road in Monroe. This "office on the go" provides a small conference room, Internet access, and a copy and fax machine. The center gives existing and prospective business owners and entrepreneurs the opportunity to check out business start-up books, internet access for research purposes and even the ability to teleconference with the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center. There will also be seminars conducted at the center to help small business owners be more successful. The space is available on a first-come first-serve basis from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week.

      The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center helps individuals develop business plans, provides financial analysis and helps to identify sources of capital, as well as assesses marketing strategies. The Georgia SBDC Network also provides a multitude of other forms of assistance to business owners and prospective owners helping them learn how to better understand their business opportunities and to make sound decisions affecting their investment.
