Monroe Art Guild..................................770-207-8937
The Monroe Art Guild was founded in 1994. The Art Guild houses a gallery, gift shop, artist studios, classrooms, ceramic studio and black and white darkroom. The programming includes monthly membership meetings with a program, workshops, and classes on a wide range of topics.
The Guild serves as host to traveling art displays and also frequently displays works of guild members and student artwork. They also host workshops on topics ranging from food presentation, gardening, and hand-painted tiles to paint your own pottery, soapstone carving, gourd carving and even kudzu basketry. Classes are developed for a variety of ages, interests and skill levels.

On Stage, Inc.......................................770-207-7566
With the purpose of just "bringing a little culture to our town", On Stage, Inc., organized in 1971 and incorporated in 1974, is Walton County’s amateur theatre group. Shows are held at the First Methodist Church and Monroe Elementary School until 1975, when the Playhouse, a renovated old church building, became On Stage’s home. Each season consists of three shows, a season kick-off reception, and a children’s summer workshop. A portion of each show’s proceeds goes to various local charities. On Stage, Inc. has produced over 88 shows since 1974 and continues to be an important part of Walton County’s cultural scene.

Social Circle Theater is a non-profit community theater founded in 2000 by Bob and Mabel Standridge. Today the theater continues to meet the Standridge’s goal of unifying the community through live local theater. The theater has entertained and shared the history of Social Circle. Through storytelling and dramatic acting, the theater takes patrons back in time, showing them what life was like in years past. Missoula Children’s Theater comes every summer for a weekend drama camp and production, bring wonderful shows such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and "The Jungle Book." These productions bring in anywhere from 40-70 local students, giving them the opportunity to learn about theater and giving them a place for their talent to shine and grow.

The Walton County Music Guild began in 1995 and over the past ten years have brought much of that special kind of pleasure to Walton County communities. The Music Guild plans and produces a full spectrum of quality concerts and productions featuring outstanding vocal and orchestral talent. The Walton County Music Guild endeavors to provide musical experiences and opportunities rarely found in rural areas such as Walton County.
